Corey Wakeling is a scholar of modernist literature and theatre, and has lectured in contemporary poetry at Deakin University and the University of Melbourne. He received his doctorate for his thesis, Samuel Beckett: experiments in insensibility, from the University of Melbourne in 2013. He is the author of poetry collection Goad omen (2013) and co-editor of Outcrop: radical Australian poetry of land (2013).
